Absolutely yes! The volunteers are the most vital part of our ability to provide services. The WRC operates with a small paid staff and many volunteers. Most of our volunteers have somehow experienced similiar situations as our clients. We have a variety of volunteers working at the center including: medical professionals, carefully trained consultants (client advocates), office receptionists, event workers and coordinators and computer technicians. Our Board of Directors also serves on a volunteer basis. Many of our clients tell us they want to become a volunteer so they too can help women in need receive the care they themselves received from us.
